Malaysia Hall

DMM

Situated on High Street, Prahran, Malaysia Hall Melbourne was launched on the 9th April 1987 by the secretary-General of the ministry of edu malaysia, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Yahya bin Abdul Wahab. The hall is a temporary accomodation for Malaysian students who come to Victoria. Besides accomodating students, it is also a place for social, academic and religious events, meetings as well as discussions among Malaysian students. At any one time, Malaysia Hall can only cater up to 35 residents. It does also provide transit accomodation.

But now, Malaysia Hall is currently closed for renovations. Residents had to find new houses to live in. So, these students went separate ways, no longer living under the same roof.
